Sterling Silver Fish Slices
The asymmetric blade of the fish slice above is pierced in a reed pattern from a single piece of sterling silver. The fish eye is in 18ct red gold.
This fine slice is 280mm long and 100mm wide. Millennium hallmark. Winner of a commendation in the Goldsmiths' Hall Craftsmanship & Design Awards, 2001. Presented with this fish slice was a copy of the Award Certificate from Goldsmiths' Hall (sold at Goldsmiths' Fair 2001).
The subtle pattern of scales on the blade complements the high finish of the handle.
