Sweetmeat Dish
A presentation piece, commissioned by the first lady Master of the Worshipful Company of Lightmongers, to mark her installation as master of the company. The dish is in the shape of a star, with cabochon citrines and moonstones to represent the light of the sun and of the moon. 30cm (12") diameter.
Engraved, "Presented by Liveryman Mrs Patricia Brain, Master, The Worshipful Company of Lightmongers 2003 - 2004 ~ Dominus illuminatio mea et salus mea" (God is my light and my help).
