Rocking Wedding Bowl on Lettered Limestone Plinth
A gently rocking bowl, 15cm wide (6") standing on a hand-lettered Derbyshire limestone plinth 27cm wide (10.5"). As a wedding love token or commemorative gift, the bowl can be engraved round the rim, and the plinth carved with wording of your choice. This example features "Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind, and therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blind" (A Midsummer Night's Dream, William Shakespeare). The plinth carries just the words "Love looks not with the eyes...".
