Sterling Silver Fish Slice with Moonstone Eye
This fish slice was commissioned by Professor Seymour Rabinovitch of Seattle, USA, for his collection. Completed May 2002. (Press coverage).
The fish eye is a cabochon moonstone. The piercing in the heavy blade runs seamlessly onto the upper surface of the handle. 300mm long. Golden Jubilee commemorative hallmark.
This piece, along with the rest of Professor Rabinovitch's collection, has been donated to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (October 2005) and is on display there in the Silver Galleries.
