Sterling Silver Alms Dish for Selby Abbey
This large (16" / 40cm wide) sterling silver alms dish was commissioned by Selby Abbey in North Yorkshire. The dish was made to commemorate renovation work on statues around the parapet of the building. The arms of this gorgeous 900 year old Abbey and those of the Abbey Trust and an inscription were laser cut in the centre of the dish. The names of the appeal donors are hand engraved around the outside of the dish.
